Laura attended the University of California, Riverside, to study Botany with an emphasis in cell and molecular biology. She received her B.S. in 1995.
She began her career in the real estate and mortgage business in Newport Beach in 1996. She received her California DRE Broker’s license in 2001. She worked closely with many successful mortgage brokers on both the retail and wholesale levels. As an Account Executive for Impac Mortgage Holdings (IMH) and Wachovia (WB), Laura gained invaluable b2b experience. After 17 months with Impac, she became the #3 salesperson Nationwide before being recruited by Countrywide, IndyMac and Wachovia. She left Wachovia in 2006 to utilize her broker’s license and a new business model, offering bundled services, to target buyers in a buyer’s market. She founded Casa Pacifica Homes & Loans company in 2006 as a bilingual company, to reach the millions of Spanish-speaking home buyers in Southern California.
Laura sees Casa Pacifica Homes and Loans and BevHills REIT as the culmination of all of her 12 years of experience. Laura’s ultimate role is to ensure that property management from acquisition to sale is profitable while incorporating "Green" concepts.
